This list is the first of its kind from Forbes México, spotlighting 30 leaders who are reshaping how business gets done across the country. It arrives at a moment when AI and a shifting geopolitical, social, and economic landscape are forcing companies to rethink how they operate.
The data shows why. According to a KPMG study cited by Forbes, 39% of companies plan to change their products or services within three years, and 72% expect to do it by building technology into what they offer. Most strikingly, 66% see analytical AI as the technology with the biggest future impact, and 71% are already executing a digital transformation strategy.
The throughline here is evident: innovation is not optional.
The same study points to what makes innovation happen. Nearly 70% of companies name leadership support as the top enabler of innovative thinking. Recognition like this, then, is not incidental to innovation. Leadership is one of its core drivers.
How the List Came Together
Forbes began by identifying innovative companies based on performance signals: valuation, leadership, and reputation. To pressure-test the shortlist, the editorial team also asked three AI platforms, ChatGPT, Gemini, and MetaAI, to name the most innovative companies in the Mexican market. Candidates were then grouped into three categories: traditional companies, technology companies, and startups founded within the last ten years.
Using a simple green, yellow, and red scoring system, judges weighed each candidate against three criteria:
- Creativity: the novelty of the innovation
- Disruption: the change it creates across an industry
- Impact: the positive effect on companies and society
Only the names that stood out on all three made the final 30.
